Hiromi has travelled to London to seek work in the UK film industry.
She had limited wig making experience and had taught herself a basic single knotting technique.
She wanted to learn high end British wig making techniques, and she came to the right place. (The UK is the home of traditional wig making after all)
So what did Hiromi learn in 4 weeks? Quite a lot.
Hiromi is a sponge and she soaks things up very quickly. She not only completed a full lace human hair wig, she also completed a human hair beard and moustache on film lace.
She learned how and where to utilise all of the knotting techniques, as well as block, wash, cut and style the wig into her desired finish.
Hiromi has been a pleasure to teach, and I wish her luck with her future endeavours.
October 10th 2024 Update
Hiromi is offered her first job interview one week after completing the four week class.
How very exciting.
She will be a great asset to any wig studio.
